Other Services Structural
engineers and other specialist services billed directly to your at cost or as advised in advance.
Free Site Visit For
private clients we are happy (subject to workload) to carry out an initial site visit and assessment without charge*, however
we do charge mileage and any expenses we incur.
* Reduced
hourly rate north of the board and outside mainland England and Wales.
Local Authority Fees You
will always be required to provide a cheque payable to the relevant local authority
in respect to their fees to be submitted with the application.
Billing You
will be invoiced at the completion of each stage of the project on or around the 21st of each month.
A
statement is produced every month on or around the 21st.
Full
payment must reach us within 30 days of the invoice date unless a stage or monthly payment scheme has been arranged with us
in advance. Should payment not be made on time we may charge you interest at 8% above Bank of England base rate.
Should
you wish to query an invoice sum or validity of invoice you must do this minimum of 5 working days prior to the date for payment*.
Should you have difficulty in paying an account likewise you should contact us five working days in advance of the due date*.
*We
still reserve the right to charge you interest on the account
Vat VAT
will be charged at the current rate at the time of billing.

IMPORTANT NOTES
In the event of specialist
outside advice being required i.e. the service of a structural engineer; this service will be billed directly by the professional
to the client, the client being responsible for payment of such fees.
CONAULT DESIGN is only liable to produce drawings suitable for presentation
to the local authority for planning approval, approval cannot be guaranteed as this is outside our control.
Appeals and further work may incur further charges and in some
cases further statutory fees.
Title of Goods Supplied
Where Conault Design supplies goods in addition
to services the title of said goods shall remain with Conault Design until paid for in full. Where Conault Design supplies
goods and services (unless otherwise stated) stage and part payments received shall be registered against services first with
the goods remaining the property of Conault design until the final payment has cleared.
